Here are five tips to help you stay in your lane:
- Focus on your own goals: Keep your eyes on the prize and avoid comparing yourself to others.
- Set boundaries: Clearly define what you are and are not responsible for.
- Stay in your expertise: Don't try to do everything. Stick to what you know best and delegate tasks outside your area of expertise.
- Practice mindfulness: Be present in the moment and avoid getting distracted by others.
- Avoid gossip and drama: Don't get caught up in other people's business. Stay focused on your own goals and priorities.

Pivoting my business had its challenges, but at the same time, it was necessary. I want to encourage other solopreneurs that it’s OK to pivot. Assess what it is that your business is lacking, be it a target market or underutilized skills. But above all, change your mindset about what services you want to offer and grow from there.
